1995

Marc:  "Early in 1995, we were out on the east coast again.  We played Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia on January 28, 1995.  We always enjoyed playing there.  The fourth picture is of us goofing off in the dressing room prior to our show."

Rob:  "In early 1995, we got word we were headed out to the west coast for the first time.  Given the winter weather, the distances involved and the really compressed schedule with little downtime, we decided to hire a professional tour bus and driver.  Here are some pics of our first tour bus, our driver Jim, and just hangin' on the couches."

Mike:  "After playing Thunder Bay, Winnipeg twice, Saskatoon and Medicine Hat in the space of six nights, we rolled into Edmonton, Alberta on February 22, 1995 to play The Thunderdome.  The next night, we had to be in Kamloops, B.C. to play a show.  That's over 800 kilometres and, at best, a nine hour drive.  You can see why the tour bus made sense."

Rob:  "Picking up from Mike's comments above; after sleeping through the night, we woke up to a bright, sunny day in Kamloops, B.C. on February 23, 1995.  That night we were playing at a place called Uncle Charlie's, which was directly across the road from the Kamloops RIverside Coliseum where The Hip was playing that night.  It turned out to be a great show, as we hit the stage around the same time The Hip was finishing up."

Marc:  "Here's a pic of Mike chatting with Derald from our road crew sometime during our west coast swing in early 1995."

Mike:  "Here's a couple of pictures of us at Trudeau Park in Tweed, Ontario on May 21, 1995.  We have played the Victoria Day weekend show at Tweed numerous times over the years."

Rob:  "Whenever we played in Sydney, Nova Scotia - such as at the University College of Cape Breton or the Capri Club - we would always head to Smooth Herman's at the end of the night for a few pops.  Eventually, we figured out it might just be easier to play there.  This is a picture of Mike backstage at Smooth Herman's on June 3, 1995."

Rob:  "We did an afternoon show in a parking lot in the Byward Market in Ottawa, Ontario on Canada Day.  The place was swimming with people because it was sandwiched between a few bars.  After the show, we had to jump in the vans and head to Perth to play O'Donnell's Station that night.  Here are a couple of pictures from the afternoon gig."
